Hilton Bonnet Creek Hotel Review
Experience Luxury and History at the Iconic Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort

Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek Orlando Introduction
We’ve stayed at Hilton Bonnet Creek Orlando many times over the years, and it remains one of our preferred choices when visiting the Disney area. Its location inside the Bonnet Creek property — just a short drive to all four Disney parks — with the added benefit of bus transportation to each park consistently makes it an ideal base for a trip that blends convenience, comfort, and a true resort experience.
Unlike hotels that simply offer a room and a bed, Hilton Bonnet Creek feels thoughtfully designed for guests who want more than just proximity to attractions. The expansive pool complex, complete with a lazy river, poolside drink and food service, and ample lounging space, provides a genuine resort atmosphere without the need to leave the property. Dining options range from the excellent La Luce restaurant to more casual choices, including a grab-and-go market and coffee bar — all well-maintained and efficient, even during busy periods.
The hotel itself is consistently clean, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable — something we especially appreciate after long days at the parks. During our most recent stay, we requested an upgrade at check-in and were fortunate to receive a room with a fantastic pool view. Being able to see the pool area from our window was an unexpected benefit: it allowed us to gauge how crowded it was before heading down.
One notable difference from previous visits was the increased crowding at the pool. An event at the adjacent Waldorf Astoria had temporarily closed the Waldorf's pool, resulting in all Waldorf guests using Hilton Bonnet Creek’s facilities. This made the pool area significantly more congested than we had experienced on past trips — something worth keeping in mind if your stay coincides with a major event.
Overall, Hilton Bonnet Creek continues to stand out for its combination of location, amenities, and service. While it may not have the architectural pedigree of historic resorts like the Arizona Biltmore, it offers modern design, thoughtful amenities, and an experience that feels both polished and genuinely relaxing — a reliable retreat just beyond the energy of Walt Disney World.

Our Experience at the Hilton Bonnet Creek
We recently stayed at the Hilton Bonnet Creek (again) and had a really enjoyable time. The property has a nice balance of being upscale without feeling overly formal, which worked well for the kind of laid-back getaway we were looking for. From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe of the resort felt welcoming and relaxed.
The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the pool and surrounding area. It wasn’t anything overly fancy, but everything we needed was there, and we slept well each night. One of the highlights was the pool area — it's huge, and the lazy river is a fun touch, especially if you're just looking to float and take it easy for a bit. The Beech Bar has a good selection of adult beverages and they can mix up a very nice tropical drink for you if that is what you are looking for.
We spent some of our time enjoying the on-site dining options. The food at La Luce was especially good — great pasta, and the atmosphere was warm without being too formal. Breakfast at the MUSE Cafe was quick and convenient, and we appreciated having multiple places to grab a bite without having to leave the resort. For example, for one dinner we ate at the Myth Bar in the outside area - fully screened in patio.
Overall, Hilton Bonnet Creek was (once again) a solid choice for a trip where we wanted to stay close to everything (Disney’s right around the corner) but still have some room to relax on our own schedule. This is the kind of place we will definitely be staying at again and again.
Here’s a look inside our room:
The grounds of the Hilton Bonnet Creek Orlando are a lush, tropical haven that blend natural beauty with resort-style luxury. Winding pathways lead through palm-lined gardens, serene water features, and manicured lawns that evoke a sense of calm just minutes from the excitement of Orlando's theme parks. At the heart of the outdoor experience is the resort’s signature lazy river pool, a sparkling, palm-shaded oasis that meanders through the landscape. Guests float leisurely beneath swaying trees and under sunlit bridges, while nearby cabanas, loungers, and poolside service invite relaxation with a cocktail or snack in hand. The pool complex also features a zero-entry lagoon-style pool and whirlpools, making it a favorite for both families and couples. Whether you're basking in the Florida sun, enjoying the sounds of cascading water, or drifting through the winding river under a canopy of blue skies, the outdoor areas of Hilton Bonnet Creek offer a perfect blend of tranquility and recreation.
La Luce Restaurant
During our recent stay at the Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek, one of the experiences we were most looking forward to was dinner at La Luce, the hotel’s signature Italian restaurant. Having dined there during previous visits, we remembered the quality of the food, the relaxed atmosphere, and the attentive service—and were eager to return.
La Luce did not disappoint. From the moment we were seated, the setting was inviting, with a modern yet comfortable ambiance that felt just right after a long day. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the menu still featured many of the dishes we had enjoyed before, along with a few new seasonal options.
La Luce offers dishes such as house-made ravioli filled with ricotta cheese, spinach, and mushrooms, served with a choice of lemon cream or tomato sauce, and topped with Reggiano cheese. The restaurant also offers a selection of Mediterranean-inspired cocktails and a Trattoria-style wine program, enhancing the overall dining experience. For reference purposes, image # 3 is their dish "ravioli half & half" and we can vouch for how good it is.
La Luce is open for dinner daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. For those seeking a more intimate setting, the restaurant provides private dining rooms suitable for both social and business events.
The La Luce Dinner Menu can be viewed on their Bonnet Creek hotel website.

Hilton Bonnet Creek Pools

Guests have access to two pool areas, one at the Bonnet Creek Hotel and the pool at the adjacent Waldorf Astoria.
The pool area at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek offers a luxurious and family-friendly aquatic experience. Guests can enjoy a zero-entry lagoon-style pool, a 3-acre lazy river, and a twisting waterslide. Private cabanas are available for rent, providing amenities such as lounge chairs, refreshments, personalized service, Wi-Fi, HD televisions, and ceiling fans.
Warning: We’ve always enjoyed the pool at the Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek during our stays, and we've never had any trouble finding a pair of lounge chairs. However, during our most recent visit over Easter weekend, things were a bit different. A large private event was taking place at the Waldorf Astoria next door, and as a result, the Waldorf's pools were reserved exclusively for attendees of that function. Guests of the Waldorf who weren’t part of the event were redirected to use the Signia pools instead. On top of that, many of the children of event attendees also made their way to the Signia pool area. The result was two very crowded days at the Signia pools — much busier than we’ve experienced before. Our workaround was simple: we made sure to head down early in the morning to grab chairs and enjoy the water before the larger crowds arrived.
Pool Accessibility: We were really impressed with how thoughtfully the resort has made its pool area accessible. There’s step-free access everywhere you need it, plus easy-to-navigate ramps around the entire deck. Both the main pool and the hot tub are equipped with ADA-compliant lifts, making it simple for everyone to enjoy the water. The pool area itself is enclosed by a security fence, with gates that are wide enough for smooth wheelchair access.
Pool hours are typically from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with the waterslide operating daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the slide without a life jacket and 40 inches tall with a life jacket.
Bonnet Creek Cabanas are available for full-day rentals and include:
- Private cabanas accommodating up to 6 guests
- Welcome refreshments to include (4) waters, (6) sodas and a snack basket
- Personalized poolside service featuring cuisine from Beech
- Wireless Internet access
- HD flat-screen television
- Ceiling fan
- Cabana Full-Day Hours: Daily, 9am to 6pm

Resort Front Desk & Lobby
Image #1 provides a welcoming view of the hotel’s front entrance as seen upon arrival. As you step into the main lobby, you’ll immediately notice a thoughtfully designed layout that blends comfort and convenience. To the left, you’ll find the inviting MUSE Café, a popular spot for guests to grab coffee, light bites, or a quick breakfast in a relaxed setting.
Straight ahead, at the far end of the lobby, is the stylish Myth Bar, known for its modern decor and cozy atmosphere—perfect for unwinding with a cocktail or meeting up with friends. To the right side of the image is the front desk, where friendly staff are available to assist with check-in and guest services.
The central area of the lobby, prominently featured in the photo, is furnished with an array of tables and comfortable chairs, creating a casual space where guests can sit back, socialize, or catch up on work. Several TV screens are strategically placed throughout this space, providing entertainment and news for those relaxing or waiting in the lobby area.
Elegant chandeliers hang overhead, casting a warm, golden light in the evenings, and fresh greenery and floral displays add just the right pop of color. Whether you're waiting to check in, enjoying a coffee, or just soaking in the atmosphere, the lobby manages to feel upscale yet totally approachable. It sets the tone for the rest of the hotel: polished, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed without being too fussy. It's the kind of space that feels just as right for kicking off a family vacation as it does for winding down after a long day at the parks.
