Urfer Park is a serene and picturesque green space that offers a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Spanning across acres of lush land, the park boasts a variety of amenities and activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
Nature enthusiasts can delight in the well-maintained walking trails that wind through a diverse landscape of native plants and wildlife. Picnic areas with shaded pavilions provide the perfect spot for families and friends to gather for a leisurely outdoor meal. Children can have a blast at the playgrounds, while sports nthusiasts can take advantage of the basketball and tennis courts.

Urfer Family Park Hours
- 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
We have driven past this park numerous times, and have repeatedly said "we need to visit this park" - in fact we thought of this park
as "small" until we went there for the express purpose of exploring it. It is quite a bit larger than we thought (55+ acres), a generous amount of
parking, restroom facilities, etc. Dogs are welcome here as long as they are on leash, and the water fountains have dog bowls built in.
NOTE: Some areas are off-limits to dogs, pay attention to signs.
Great Playground Area!
The playground features modern and safe equipment designed to cater to kids of all ages. Colorful slides, climbing structures, and swings provide endless hours of entertainment and exercise. The soft rubber surface ensures a safe landing for little ones as they explore and play.
Parents can take advantage of the nearby picnic areas and benches, offering a comfortable spot to relax while keeping a watchful eye on their children at play. The playground's thoughtful design includes shaded areas, offering respite from the Florida sun during hot days.

- Dog-friendly (leashed): Fido can join the fun in designated areas.
- Ample parking, restrooms, and drinking fountains ensure convenience.
Park Visitation Tips:
- Apply sunscreen and bring hats – the Florida sun can be strong.
- Pack plenty of water, especially for those splash pad adventures.
- Consider bringing binoculars for birdwatching around the pond.
